Hodgdin Clay's .45acp?

I'm setting up my Dillon 550b for .45acp, and have a question about the appropriate powder.
I have 8lbs of Hodgdin Clay's that I use for reloading my .45 Colt, and was wondering if I can use this powder for reloading .45acp, bullet: 230gr RNFMJ.
I checked the Hodgdin website, and didn't see any data specifically for 230gr RMFMJ bullets.
Would appreciate any information,
Thanks

Yes, Hodgdon Clays is probably the BEST powder for 45ACP. It is THE choice for guys reloading for USPSA or IDPA 45ACP loads. Makes major powerfactor and has really soft recoil.

I was using 4.0gr of Clays with a 230gr Rainier plated bullet loaded to 1.255" OAL for a velocity of 735fps out of a 5" 1911.

73! OM!
