Hodgdin Clay's .45acp?
Quote from Reloader on May 15, 2013, 3:47 pmI'm setting up my Dillon 550b for .45acp, and have a question about the appropriate powder.
I have 8lbs of Hodgdin Clay's that I use for reloading my .45 Colt, and was wondering if I can use this powder for reloading .45acp, bullet: 230gr RNFMJ.
I checked the Hodgdin website, and didn't see any data specifically for 230gr RMFMJ bullets.
Would appreciate any information,
Thanks

I was using 4.0gr of Clays with a 230gr Rainier plated bullet loaded to 1.255" OAL for a velocity of 735fps out of a 5" 1911.
73! OM!
