how many times to reload brass before throwing it away
Quote from Reloader on February 1, 2016, 4:02 pmJust wondering how many times does everyone reload their brass before throwing it away?
On avg of course.
I've read that it should be discarded anywhere between 6 and 15 times depending on the load etc.
I reload - 9mm, 45 acp, 45 Colt, 38 Sp, 6.5 Mauser - all of various powder loads and bullets based on accuracy testing.
Thanks in advance

Quote from Reloader on February 1, 2016, 5:11 pmI myself reload all my handgun brass until it splits our I can't read the head stamp anymore. Most all of my 45 acp and 38 super brass that have been reloaded several times since 1993.
When sort brass after a trip to the range I just toss the split ones, clean the rest, reload, and go shooting.
I don't shoot rifle enough anymore to worry about them.Hope this helps.
