I have a Few Questions About the RL550
Quote from Reloader on January 4, 2015, 4:57 amHello im new here and i just picked up a very nice used RL550 With 6 tool Heads and 4 Conversion Kits for a great deal.
But it needs a couple of parts
It need's the Powder Measure and the small primer magazine tube
so one of my questions are is the Powder Measure the same on the RL550 and the XL650
and i just got it so i am tearing it down for cleaning what do i use to clean it with cleaner wise.
And is there anything i should look out for (Anything that brakes easy)
Thanks

As for things breaking goes, I bought my 550B new from Dillon in 1996 and have loaded over 100,000 rounds. The only thing that has broke was one of the two powder bar return springs in 2008. I was going to order a replacement but my powder measure seemed to work the same with one return spring as it did with two, so I never replaced it.
