Inconsistent primers
Quote from Reloader on July 24, 2018, 4:25 pmI have been using Winchester Large Pistol primers, fresh, in my SDB, for .45 ACP, and I have found that some 100 primer boxes have primers that jam up in the pick up tube(s) while other boxes work just fine. I don't force the primers into the tube and have 3 tubes. Any thoughts on this? I have usually found Win primers to be consistent in size and smooth edged, but perhaps things have changed.

Currently, we have found that Remington, CCI, S&B, Fiocchi primers are among the most dimensionally consistent.
