index sprocket ?
Quote from Reloader on November 13, 2015, 9:05 pmI have an older 550B (probably between 65000 and 100000 45acp rounds loaded) Recently, I have started having problems with the shellplate becoming hard to turn. I have isolated it down to the shellplate bolt. When I turn the index sprocket, It is causing the shellplate bolt to turn and tighten to the point where the plate won't turn. Do I need a new bolt or is there something I am not doing. I have gotten great service from the press for at least 10 years.
Thanks Bob

Quote from Reloader on November 15, 2015, 7:48 pmOn the left side of the main shaft is a 1/8" allen screw. when your shell plate bolt allows proper advancing of shell plate you need to tighten the side screw it will lock the shell plate bolt from turning. It is part #13923 Brass tipped set screw.
