Installing Primer Station Locator Tab
Quote from Reloader on February 10, 2016, 3:02 pmHey guys,
Got a quick question. Do any of you have a secret to Installing the Primer station locator Tab and spring that goes with it? I broke down my primer feeder last night to clean it up and when I got ready to re-install the Locator tab and spring I had a heck of a time getting the spring and locator in place in order to put the screw and washer in. I needed a third hand. I lost one spring when it shot across the garage. BTW I took the shell plate off and I still had problems. It seems to me the spring is to long (I know I used the right one). Once I finally got it in place everything worked great but WOW was it a killer trying to install. If any of you have any life tips and don't mind sharing please do.
Thanks
Glenn

I remove the primer assembly from the machine. That allowed me to hold the spring and locator tab with a thumb and rest of hand wrapped around the assembly (three axis of movement). This allowed a second hand to put the screw and washer in.
