Instructions...

Hey, picked up a used Square Deal in 45acp over the weekend, an hour or so thru the manual and I was setup and loading, a few of the parts seemed to be from previous iterations.

At one point I ended up w/ primers jamming in the feed assembly.

I believe it was due to a short stroke. If we need to interrupt the 'progressive' state of the machine, and revisit a station, what is the recommended procedure...?

Also - the manual doesn't cover unloading powder or primers from the setup at the end of the session.

If you do not seat the primer in the feed cup, it will shuttle back and forth continuously until you do. If the handle is manipulated too rapidly, the primer could flip, which can damage the plastic magazine tip, or flip the primer the plastic tip is guiding.

If you don't plan to load for several days, it is advised to detach the powder measure and pour the unused powder back into original container. Primers may be left in the tube;otherwise detach the primer feed and turn it upside down to pour the unused primers back onto your flip tray.
