Is left side of the link arm removable from link arm pins?
Quote from Reloader on March 11, 2018, 1:13 amHi guys,
I have a 5 years old Dillon 650. I recently bought a Mark 7 Auto drive and trying to set it up. I followed the instructions and everything went well until the step where I need to take the bottom link pin out completely. Right hand side link arm came down pretty easy. Took the left hand side nut (on the grease nipple) off pretty easy as well. However, no matter how hard I try, the bottom pin doesn't come off. It felt like there might be a set screw or something that is holding it in place... I hammered it lightly, but it didn't move either... My question is, is the pin removable from the link arm? If yes, how to remove it?
Thanks,
Henry

Finally got it out. Can confirm on my 5 years old 650 there is no set screw or anything that hold the link pin in. Wearing and tearing caused the holdup. You will just have to use a bit of force and hammer it out. Hammer a bit each time so you don't damage the grease nipple.
