Keeping the 1100 operating smoothly
Quote from Bbqguy on July 17, 2023, 5:28 pmI use the 1100 with a Mk 7 drive. Any thoughts on how to minimize stoppages is appreciated. Beyond, of course, keeping it clean. I've wondered if with 9mm in particular its worthwhile to run brass thru twice - once to recap and size, and second to re-size and load.

I don't run an auto-drive on my 1100, but I do run my "fired" brass through twice as described in your post. This allows me to address any "troubled cases/resizing issues" while I'm just decapping primers and resizing the brass. I sometimes will do 1000-2000 that way I have plenty of fully processed pieces of brass when I'm ready to actually load.
When loading NEW brass I run them through in one smooth cycle with no issues.
