large powder bar issues
Quote from Reloader on May 5, 2012, 11:38 pmSo I installed the large powder bar and when I put the case in to and pulled the leaver I get no powder and yes the proper funnel is in and the die is set low enough to engage the funnel and when I disassemble the powder measure its full so i know powder is getting there but not dropping into the case. Im loading .45acp using bullseye powder Thanks for helping the newbie

Quote from Reloader on May 7, 2012, 3:36 pmFirst, switch back to the small powder bar for 45ACP. Next, Be sure the failsafe rod is fully retracting the powder bar to pick up the next charge. When you pull the handle down, does the powder bar travel all the way over to the far side before the handle bottoms out?

Quote from Reloader on May 8, 2012, 4:32 pmSo even before I read this I switched back to the small powder bar. I got all this reloading supplies from my wife's grandfather who passed and all the dies were already setup w/ there own powder hoppers , bars and die heads so when I went to load the .45 it had the large bar on it so I went to check to make sure all dies were set up right and to adjust the powder but the powder wouldnt drop once I switched back and properly adjusted the powder die everything functioned properly. Thanks for the response
