Large Primer Feed Issues
Quote from Reloader on February 11, 2017, 3:40 pmHey guys,
At the end of my rope with this large primer issue, it starts with picking up the primers with the pickup tube. I get about 10 in and the tube jams not allowing in any more for any reason I can see. I try to gently force them and it locks up. So after fighting with that for a couple hours I decided to load the primer tube 5 at a time until the machine was full. Now the primers wont feed into the cup, I have adjusted the height on the cup post as some have suggested on here, I was able to get 3 successful then it wouldn't drop again. I can look in there and see that the machine isn't causing the restriction but the primers are simply getting stuck in the tube again. Can someone shed some light on this? Are my tubes screwed up? This is my first time use the large primer set up but I had no issues for the first 800 rounds I made. Now it's to the point where the press is unusable. PLEASE HELP!
Using CCI No. 300 Large pistol primers.

Then drop one primer shiny side down through the tube, be sure it freely falls out the bottom of the tube.
