Lee Rifle Dies
Quote from Reloader on January 20, 2011, 12:36 pmI recently purchased a XL650 that was set up for pistol reloading. I have a single stage press that I have been using for rifle reloading and would like to convert the XL650 to rifle reloading . The dies I have on the single stage press are Lee dies. I would like to know if these dies can be used in the XL650 (calibers are 25-06, 308, 30-06, 270). If so, would I only need to buy the conversion kits for these calibers to begin reloading/
Thanks

Quote from Reloader on January 20, 2011, 2:24 pmThe Lee dies may be successfully used on the XL650. Older Lee dies were a bit skimpy on the thread length. If this occurs, either turn their die lock ring upside down, so that the o-ring is upward, or else use Dillon lock rings on them.
BTW, most of the cartridges you listed will share the same shellplate, locator buttons and case feed parts. You would only need the powder funnels, which are bullet diameter specific.
