Quote from Reloader on January 25, 2013, 3:09 pmYes, they have the quick change "plates", or head. It should take you about 10 minutes to switch from caliber to caliber. It's easy once you have the steps down.

Quote from Reloader on January 25, 2013, 3:10 pmYou are going to want quick change plates for each. Otherwise you will spend a lot of time changing calibers.

Quote from Reloader on January 25, 2013, 9:06 pmI just purchased the 650 XL Quick Change for my .45 cal. This is the first time I will be changing calibers over. It took a little time to sort through, but if you are patient, it soon becomes quite simple to do.
The link for the Quick Change: https://www.dillonprecision.com/#/content/p/9/pid/23806/catid/2/XL_650_Quick_Change
I guess ideally, you would have one Quick Change for each caliber, so that your powder set up and dies wouldn't have to be reworked each time. As you know, this can sometimes be the most time-consuming part of the setup.
Hope that helps!

Quote from Reloader on February 6, 2013, 1:41 pmYou can have quick change tool head setups for each caliber. So when you want to change calibers you swap out the tool heads and switch over the caliber conversion along with it and the primer feeder if required. So basically all you have to do is go though the patient process of setting up the dies once on each tool head. I load 9mm, 45acp, and 44mag and it takes me about 5 minutes to switch calibers if I don't have to switch the primer feeder.
