Lube Dents?
Quote from Reloader on December 21, 2019, 4:52 pm5.56 prep on a Mark 7 driven Super 1050 at 3500ish RPH. I just switched to the carbide RT1200 size trim die using Dillon Case Lube.
Most cases that come out with a shoulder dent. Can’t figure out why. They don’t seem over lubed (too much lube is never bad. Lol). I thought the case may be hitting the trimmer too hard and trying to buckle but these are the only marks if any on the case. I would think if it was trying to buckle it would be more concentric. All thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

Quote from Reloader on December 24, 2019, 2:08 pmYou probably just need to clean out the die. It sounds like it's just an accumulation of lube. You're loading 3 times faster than b hand, so cleaning and maintenance need to be more frequent as well.
