Lube that swage!
Quote from Reloader on January 20, 2015, 5:40 amI have a Dillon super swage and I've been swaging brass like a mad man. I used it so much that it started pulling the screws loose from the board I had it lagged down to. So I decided to finally get some flush nuts and matching bolts to give it a solid mount.
While I had it dismounted, I went ahead and tore it down and gave it a good clean and lube (with grease like in the directions. WOW it swages 10 times easier now. I'd recommend periodically taking it apart and doing a little TLC lubing. Of course it says this in the directions, but really who reads directions ... we are guys... grunt (no offense meant to lady reloaders).
Just a friendly reminder to do that maintenance on your machines and they will kindly repay you with years of awesome service!
