Howdy ,
I have a 45-70 (A.K.A "Mabel") Shooting Hornady FXT ,I can now hit targets farther than the iron sights are good for . I'm now look'n for a 10X scope under $150 ,and can handle Mabel's thump
any comments ?

or... put on a good lyman reciever sight... mine shoots well out to 300M.

Still want a scope? I'd try a low power shotgun scope.. mine takes the thump from a 525 gr slug powered by 46gr of blue dot! (1750 fps)....
