Mainshaft problem
Quote from Reloader on February 1, 2009, 2:10 amWas getting ready to reload some ammo and ,oh, boy! My 650 on every pull of the handle felt very ruff. It felt like the mainshaft was rubbing on something or sand was poured in?
so, I broke it down and found PITTING in side the mainshaft housing? Most of the pitting was located on the right side of the shaft.
I always took care of my reloader and oiled it using 30w oil. Both the mainshaft and housing is damaged.
Any ides if this will be covered under warranty ? I know it can't be fixed because of tolerances.
Thank you all in advance

Quote from Reloader on February 3, 2009, 4:21 pmActually, the presence of pitting, provided the rust that caused it is removed, is no big deal. This mostly adds pores to hold more lubricant.
Most often, if the handle is hard to cycle, then the link arm pivot pins are dry and need grease.
If necesssary, contact us for return authorization to ship it in for repair.
