Quote from Reloader on February 14, 2017, 3:25 amIt is good to have a military discount, however as a disabled vet who has pain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from my military service . . . I don't meet your requirements to receive it.

Quote from Reloader on March 30, 2017, 5:59 pmNot sure I understand the reasoning on this explanation of discounts? While I applaud the active service and all combat vets and disabled vets, Im a combat vet retired with 30yrs service and do NOT qualify? Surely this is misinterpreted, If not then 30 years is not suitable for discounts. Totally confused. But atleast some get the benefits so its a partial (Very Partial) win.

Quote from Reloader on March 31, 2017, 3:12 amIs 4 years with an honorable discharge from military eligible? I'm looking at getting the 1050 so a discount really works at softening the wife up a bit. 😉

Quote from Reloader on June 2, 2017, 9:15 pmDanielklein757, no, the guy who served 6 weeks isn't eligible. The requirements are a minimum of 180 days on active duty to qualify for veterans benefits, including VA Medical, Educational, etc.

Quote from Reloader on July 13, 2017, 7:47 amPersonally, as an 8 year Marine Corps veteran and 3 tour combat veteran, I was diagnosed with PTSD but not by the VA. After getting out and having a really difficult time adjusting, to the point that repeated bouts of violence landed me in jail, I finally attempted to go to the VA to get the help I clearly needed. However, after waiting 2 years to be seen with no response I went back to the VA to find out what was taking so long only to find out they lost my paperwork. It wasn't until a nonprofit got me the help I needed that things finally got better and I was given a service animal, which saved my life. However, because I said "F the VA" after hour I was treated and refused to go through them my 8 years of service, 3 combat tours and now PTSD, I don't rate a measly 10% discount? My service and sacrifice to my country and for you, so you could sit there and tell me my sacrifice isn't good enough to rate what amounts to the tax on your product? So the green ass chair force kid who's still in his A school, but had been in for 180 days, rates a discount but I don't? Where do you get off telling me that my service, the things I will see for the rest of my life everytime I close my eyes, the brothers I lost in front of my eyes and the shit I will have to deal with for the rest of my life isn't worth your BS 10% discount! You should be giving us a 50% discount for what we did! I will never understand companies like yours, and there is a lot, that claims to have a "military discount" only to discriminate against those of us who did our time and got out. That's not a true military discount, it's a BS marketing scheme at the expense of veterans. You should be ashamed, why don't you burn some flag while your at it!

Quote from Reloader on November 13, 2017, 7:50 pmJwdawson it would help if you handled yourself appropriately. The VA and Dillon might be easier to work with. For one PTSD has trigger points and one needs to walk away when the cork is about to blow. When you cannot walk away you deal with it the best you can. The VA is the requirement by Dillon and had you followed through with the VA you would grab that discount that you feel is owed to you when Dillon is a business in it to make a profit not give stuff to anybody with a hand out. Dillon being gracious enough to give 10% with certain restrictions is reasonable as can be. It would be my advice for you to see the shrink and reevaluate life or you will never reintegrate into society. BTDT, have the T-shirt and figured out that I needed help so I got it. Life is much better and enjoyable once you get the issues under control.

Quote from Reloader on July 21, 2018, 8:57 pmMy understanding of Dillion's discount is as follows:
Current active duty.
Medically retired from service with not less than 180 days active service.
Nothing else follows.
This means no Veterans, retirees, or service connected are otherwise eligible for any form of a Military discount. This may suck for the rest of us, but at least it's a little something for some. This comes from a service connected Veteran who is a non service connected medical retiree.
