New to Reloading
Quote from Reloader on September 27, 2010, 8:27 pmI've never reloaded before...After doing a lot of research I think that the Dillon RL550B should work for me...I notice that the RL550B does not have AUTO INDEX, is that something I should have, being new to reloading?...
I will be loading 9mm and .45acp in the beginning...I would like to have a complete list of the equipment I MUST HAVE to get started...Then, a list of the optional attachments, etc. that you recommend I buy...I would also appreciate any other recommendations you think would be helpful to a "greenhorn" like me...
Thanks very much for your help...

Quote from Reloader on September 29, 2010, 12:56 amAuto index is a luxury, not a necessity. Sometimes it's nice to stop or reverse at a station to double check something; this way at least YOU are the one in control of the situation.
As far as accessories: scale, calipers, carbide die set, case tumbler, a few good loading manuals, Dillon 550B DVD, lead projectiles for plinking, hollow point jacketed for defense loads, primer flipper, a gun powder that is universal to 9mm and .45acp, and finally, just have a wonderful time assembling your own ammo,...I sure do!

Thanks again and safe shooting...
