No BS Guarantee

I have owned a Dillon 550 for over 23 years now, even longer than I have known my wife, and quite frankly I got a better deal on the Dillon than the wife!!  Over the years I have broken one or two parts, sometimes due to my own foolishness, but recently a part on the press just simply gave out.  Every time that I have contacted Dillon I have been immensely impressed with their prompt service and their immediate response in sending the necessary parts free of charge.  When they say "a no BS guarantee" they really mean it!

I have never encountered a company with such brilliant customer service resulting in tremendous customer loyalty.  My enthusiasm for Dillon equipment has been such that I have persuaded two friends to buy similar Dillon products and they too have been converted to "Blue Addicts".  Over the years I have used and accumulated reloading equipment produced by most of the major US manufacturers including Lyman, Lee and RCBS - all have had their good points and their bad points, some of the equipment has been good, some not so good.  I have had to return one or two items of equipment under guarantee due to manufacturing defects or faults and have always received good service from the various companies, but nothing has ever matched the service that I have received from Dillon.  My only disappointment with Dillon is the availability of spares and dealers in the UK, but this has in recent years been lessened by the use of the internet.  Enquiries to Dillon via e mail have always been replied to very promptly and a knowledgeable response has always been given.  I hope the company continues to thrive and to serve shooters in the same manner for many years to come.

8x57,

We are happy to help keep you loading, especially in a country that isn't as firearms-friendly as it once was. We are at your service!

Kind of a little pissed. I have had my 550 since the 90's and a pacific single stage since the 70's. 3 years ago I got into USPSA. My reloading took another turn. Since I started i am reloading and shooting in the neighborhood of 2K 9mm and 3K 40's a month. I purchased and installed a 550 case feeder about 6 months ago. The 9's are no problem. The 40's are another story. At first i had a problem with cases primed with cci primers. Solved by some work on the decapping pin. And from the beginning I had a problem with the ram not pushing the 40 all the way in the shell plate. Some times staying upright and once and a while falling over.
Sitting in front of the press you cant see if the case is upright or has fallen over. If the shell plate goes up and the case fell over and is sitting on the shell plate its no problem but if the case falls over and is sitting on the station one locator the station 1 locator gets damaged and eventually fails. I got 2 about a month ago and then when i called the other day it was the following. "Your ram isn't adjusted properly" That's not the case since it works most of the time with 40's. The 9's no problems. I figured out what it was and when i tried to explain my findings to the tech this is what i got "don't you sort your cases?" the answer to that is I use a casepro 100 to get the bulge out, so yes i sort my cases.
Well to make a long story short he wasn't interested in listening he was just interested in selling me some station 1 locators. Not sure if that a no BS warranty!

Damaged Station 1 locators are covered under warranty. Just phone or email us. If you email, please include your address. You do need to make very minor adjustments to the operating cam when changing calibers of different diameters.

When ever I hear people talk about Dillon's no B/S guarantee I'm reminded of the only time I loaned out my 550 it came back it came back without the low primer warning battery cover. I called to see if I could buy a replacement they wouldn't hear of it and sent a whole new primer assy.

I will never loan out a good reloading press.
