Old(er) case feeder question

Howdy,

I currently have an XL 650 with case feeder set up for .45 ACP. It is an older casefeeder with only the single speed switch/motor setup.

First question, other than the case feeder plate, is there anything on the case feeder itself that needs to be changed for 9mm or .300 blackout?

I ask because somewhere I was told that there was an insert that goes into the clear plastic funnel for the smaller cases.

Next, what is the best case feed adapter for the 300 Blackout?

Thanks in advance,

Tim Beghtol

For 9mm, your casse feeder came with a white plastic T-shaped adapter that goes into the top of the clear plastic funnel to reduce the opening. This prevents cases from flipping sideways, and clogging up and possibly overflowing the clear funnel.
For 300 BLK, add a couple of spacer washers under the gray plastic case feed plate to elevate it. 300 BLK uses the same case feed plate as 45ACP. 9mm uses the small pistol plate.

Hmmm. I don't recall seeing the white T shaped piece that you are describing anywhere. Can I order that separately?

Thanks for the reply!
