Older vs. New case feeder
Quote from Reloader on June 18, 2013, 10:06 amI have a 20 y.o. or so XL 650 with case feeder. I notice the newer case feeders have some changes. Any advantage? What did they improve? The Casefeed Bowl Insert PN# 17808 is new.
I load pistol only. .380, 9mm, 38 spl., .357 mag. .44 mag, and .45 ACP. I do have problems with cases jamming from time to time.
Thanks,
Robert

Quote from Reloader on June 18, 2013, 10:06 pmThe big design change was made to allow the case feeder to work with shotshells. In the older feeder, be sure to use the opaque plastic adapter in the rectangular funnel for .380, 9mm cases. You should have a different case feed plate for these cartridges as well.

I made some adjustments and it does pretty well.
As always, thanks.
