Operation becoming sticky on 2/3 of stroke cycle

My operation became sticky today, about 2/3 of the stroke going up and coming down. The shell plate turns very smoothly, so I know it is not this binding up. I have greased the 2 points with a gun, sprayed some lube on the piston(thats what I call it), but it did not seem to help at all. It does this without any cases loaded, so it is nothing to do with the actual loading process. I guess the next step in my mind is to take the whole unit apart, but would rather not do that. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Clean the part you call the piston thoroughly and just use 10/30 on this part. Spray lubes have a tendency to get sticky. This may solve your problem especially if you have been using a spray lube for some time.

Also, check the case feed plunger where it slides on the platform rails, see if those need any grease. Beyond that, with the shellplate off, detach the primer feed, then see if it still feels stiff. Please let us know.

I cleaned it up and lubed it with motor oil, seems to work much better now, like it should. Thanks for you help!
