Possibly defective machine

Hey all, I just purchased a brand new SDB in 9mm. here are the list of problems I'm having with it. (going to get into contact with Customer service on tuesday). delrin washer broke in tow, the spent primer/reset plate bent. The primer tube is refusing to feed primers now. The priming system was not properly priming the brass ( I have about 20 rounds that I went through before noticing that have half primed brass).

I know that dillons customer service is excellent So i have no doubt that they will make it right, but still $400 is a lot of money to spend on something that has some serous issues. Hopefully I can get them to agree to let me send it in and have them just go through the entire machine to make sure its working right.

was there any damage to the shipping box? could be someone used it as a football while in transit.

If the tip of the primer tube, one inside the blast tube not the primer pick-up tube, gets mangled you have to replace it. Once they become bent they don't work.
I would think you might have some spares with the machine. Dillon is great about replacing them.

I periodically clean the primer tubes with a wooden dowel and small patch (like for .22s)
