Powder bar travels too far forward
Quote from Reloader on September 4, 2018, 12:28 amNow and then the powder bar would slam back and then miss dropping powder on the next pull. I examined the failsafe - made sure a case was under the drop - what I found. The powder bar travels so far forward the little pin on the linkage (triangle piece) hits the forward edge of the powder drop housing pushing the piece outward and allowing the powder bar to slip off the pin. Sometimes cycling the press puts the pin back in place - sometimes not. This has been happening for awhile as there is a wear spot on the housing of the powder drop. I have tried adjusting the failsafe rod - no joy. Suggestions - loading 9mm and 40 S&W. Bought the press new in 2000 from Pops Reloading in Ohio.

Quote from Reloader on September 4, 2018, 5:28 pmIt sounds like you are missing the bellcrank cube. This is a white delrin square that fits over this pin, and is what is supposed to push on the powder bar. Please email us, and include your address. We will mail this delrin piece to you. It is a slip-fit over the round pin.
