Powder Check
Quote from Reloader on July 19, 2008, 11:07 amI have had a 550B for quite a while. A friend had a 1050 in storage that he wanted me to clean up and get working again. Everything works great except the powder check function on station 6. My friend doesn't have a clue about its functioning.
I have examined the check and had to remove a bad battery and corrosion and the buzzer works now.
Is there a manual?
The square plastic bar on the underside of the case is curved and the one shown on the product part page is straight. It may have deformed in storage if this even has a bearing on the correct function. I can't figure out how it's supposed to be set up to work.
Any help would be shiny blue.

Quote from Reloader on July 24, 2008, 5:13 pmOpen up the latter half of the XL650 manual. Page 32 shows setup for the powder check. You need to put a washer at the bottom of the adjusting bolt to actuate the rod. If the plastic bar is not touching the underside of the buzzer housing, then it will still function properly. If it is touching, phone us and we can mail a replacement plastic housing to you.
