Powder drop mechanism trouble

My powder drop was working fine last week. I took it off the machine because I decided to try and clean and lube the machine. I was able to do that. The machine seems to be working fine. I put the powder measure back on to see how everything would function. No powder in the hopper. No primers. I just was using empty cases to check functionality. When the case got to station two, and I pulled the lever down to simulate a powder drop the powder drop mechanism gets pushed so high it tilts to one side and gets stuck. It gets tilted over toward the failsafe bar. The powder hopper goes so high it goes above the two little rails on the mechanism and then tilts toward the bar. It won’t go back down. You have to pop it back straight and then it jumps back into place because of the spring. This happens every time a case goes up in station two. I don’t know what’s different now. It was working before. Any ideas on what I’ve done wrong??

may need to disassemble load bar and make sure it has no gouges or built up "crud" . a light polish with good alum polish, followed by a good wipe down to ensure no residue is left, then check to see if it slides easy again . you also have to lightly lube the pivot pin bolt, back it off a turn or two and apply some light oil then re tighten and slowly operate mechanism in you had to see if its smooth again

i got sick and mine sat for 2 years, no powder, just air and it go a bit stiff and light corrosion on the alum. took it apart and cleaned and lightly polished by hand and now its smooth as new
