Quote from Reloader on March 23, 2014, 10:04 pmNeed help. The powder drop tube that funnels powder and bells the cartridge is very tight and theres lots of friction and scoring on the tube during upstroke.
Do I need to lube the top if the case mouth or is there something else i need to do.
Thanks

Quote from Reloader on March 24, 2014, 4:19 pmWhat caliber? If a handgun caliber, then it sounds like brass buildup on the expander portion of the powder funnel. This commonly occurs when loading new brass, or brass cleaned in a liquid. The carbon residue inside the case typically acts as a lubricant.
Use steel wool, scotchbrite pad, wire wheel, etc, to remove the brass buildup from the funnel.
