Powder for .223
Quote from Reloader on January 26, 2017, 3:36 amI have used WW748, but find the H335 meters better and for me shoot better. I know there are other newer cleaner burning powders for the 5.56 and I have a pound on the shelf, but not used it yet. The H335 so far has been the preferred choice at least for me.

Quote from Reloader on September 21, 2017, 8:15 pmI also use Hodgden 335 for my .223/5.56 and have no compression issues with 55 or 53 grain bullets. I've had no issues with it, and my groupings have been fairly tight for iron sights and my eyesight. It meters well.

Quote from Reloader on October 22, 2017, 5:37 pmFrom what I understand, H335 is the closest to the originally designed powder for the .223, especially in the AR-15 series. I like how it meters, it's very consistent, flows well, and I've never had a misfire in the several hundred rounds I've reloaded. (Hey, I've only had my AR for a few months! )
H335 is also versatile enough you could use it in a .30-06 or in my newest rifle, .204 Ruger.....

Quote from Reloader on October 26, 2017, 12:27 pmI'm another one on H335 for 53-55 grain bullets with no compression issues. It meters well, shoots smooth, and not much reason for me to change for another powder at this point that I can think of.
