Powder funnel
Quote from Reloader on May 23, 2015, 3:38 amDoes the powder funnel for rifle cases flare the mouth of the case or does it just activate the powder measure and funnel the powder? Also, how much adjustment can be made? I am assuming the powder die can be screwed in more or less based on the case overall length?
I am trying to match a 25 caliber wildcat that is 1.70" overall length to a powder funnel. It has been suggested a 25WSSM be used since it has a 1.67 overall length. Can I adjust the powder die inward to make up the .03 " difference?

I MAKE SURE I BEVEL THE CASE MOUTH LIGHTLY TO START THE BULLET IN THE NECK. I PREFER BEVEL BASE OR BOAT TAIL BULLETS ALSO TO EASE THE SEATING. IT DOES NOT SEEM TO HINDER CRIMPING THE CASE MOUTH IF DONE LIGHTLY.
