Powder measure sticking

I've had my SDB about 16 years or so and I think the powder measure slide is sticking. I've just started getting back into reloading. Is that a teflon coating on it to make it slide? If it is it's worn away. Also I think the spacer above has the coating worn off. Is that how they are still made? Anyone have a fix for this other than buying new parts? I think anything greasy or oily would stick to the powder and make a mess.

When the powder measure sticks on it's way back in and then jumps back it causes the powder to pop out of the casing. Making a mess and a short load. Also the primers flip over on their side or completely upside down sometimes. I thought it was something else causing the non smooth operation. But I think this is it. I'll be ordering a new measure and spacer if I have to.

I just want to make sure it's the small powder measure that is for 45ACP. Is that correct?

Thanks,

Jim

The powder bar and spacer both have a teflon coating. 45 ACP uses a small powder bar. Phone or email us for a warranty replacement.
