Powder Mess
Quote from Reloader on September 22, 2008, 1:27 amA few little granuals of powder stick up in the powder measure after each charge. Then the movement of the machine causes them to drop when the machine indexes. Over time I end up with a powder mess that then causes other malfunctions.
The white cube is adjusted perfect.
It does this with Varget (stick) and is horrible with H335 (ball).
I took the funnel out and cleaned it with alcohol. It was totally covered with H335 statically clinging to it. Anyway to avoid this?

Next, when you drop powder, pull the handle down slowly, so the powder has more time to drop. I suggest it takes about 1 full second to move the powder bar from one side to the other. If static continues to be a problem, ground the machine.

I just got this machine a few days ago and wow. I got the 1200B trimmer and set up an extra toolhead just to process brass. Processed a whole pail of brass in a few minutes. It would have taken many hours doing it my old way. Resized, trimmed, deprimed with almost no effort on my part.
