Powder Spillage
Quote from Reloader on December 17, 2014, 3:45 amRecently I started to load 9mm with my Dillon RL1050. After the powder drops into the 9mm brass shell and the Dillon press indexes to the next station I'm getting powder spillage.
Does Dillon support have a fix for this issue.

Quote from Reloader on December 17, 2014, 9:08 pmIt depends. Most likely cause is the shellplate lock ring needs to be tighter. Push down on the edge of the shellplate at the bullet seating station. If it feels springy, then the bolt needs to be tighter.
If static is a cause, powder will fall out of the funnel after indexing. For this, cut a long strip from an anti-static dryer sheet, run it inside the hopper tube all the way to the metal, fold the excess over the top of the tube and tape it to the outside of the tube.
