Preferred or recommended small rifle primers

Lots of problems with Federal (primers) not govt.

I have not heard or read it straight from Dillon, but there is a lot of people that say Dillon does not recommend Federal primers as they are too soft.  I have used mostly CCI & Winchester and have had no issues. Probably over 20K. I have used some Wolf / Tula as well but they don't seem to go down the primer feed tube as smoothly.

My own opinion is go with WSR primers, or well it depends on what federal primers you use and for what weapon. I use Federal AR primers for well my AR. Or, CCI I think the CCI are better then the WSR I noticed a more consistent Flat base I guess you could say to them.

I use only Win or CCI primers, as there is a lot of opinion out there that Federal primers are too soft to be using in magazine-fed primer systems. For floating firing pin automatic rifles like the AR, M1, M1A, the correct corresponding primers are the CCI 41 (small) and CCI 34 (large). These have the military primer cup thickness.
