Quote from Reloader on June 3, 2012, 4:18 amI was interested in starting to learn how to reload, I have people teaching me and i want to know what is the bare minimum to reload 9mm, I want to go with the 550b or the 650b but more towards the 550b and I think that is the best bet for me. Please give me some advice.
Thanks,

Quote from Reloader on June 7, 2012, 3:32 pmAt minimum, in addition to the reloading machine, you will need the following:
Die set
powder scale
loading manual
primer flip tray
dial calipers
Soon, you will want to add case cleaning equipment. If you plan to load a bottlenek case, you will need case lube as well. Bottleneck cases require trimming periodically as well.

Quote from Reloader on October 15, 2012, 2:22 amHave you tried the "Which Machine is right for you" guide at the top of the products tab <-----? The basic differences:
550 is manually indexed, the 650 is automatic
550 has 4 places for dies, the 650 has 5
550 is cheaper
550 can reload more calibers.
550 caliber change is cheaper1 started with the 550, used it for over 10 years before I bought a 650. I still have both and use the 650 for high volume, often used cartridges, and the 550 for everything else. I haven't seen a bit of difference in quality of ammunition between the 2.
Hope this helps
