Primer Arm not fully extending
Quote from Reloader on February 12, 2017, 10:07 pmThis is a new Super1050 for my 38 SuperComp. When I set up the primer arm, it worked fine with 100+ "dry runs" while adjusting and measuring lengths etc... Then I added primers, and the primer plate will not advance forward without assistance (about 1/4" short of full forward). I have readjusted several times and it just will not advance foreword to allow the press to complete the cycle.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Quote from Reloader on February 13, 2017, 6:26 pmIt sounds like primer primer arm assembly is either not down quite far enough, or the primer feed body is bolted on backwards. The base of the primer feed body has a shallow vertical groove , which needs to be oriented rearwards.
Beyond that, please phone us when you can be in front of the machine.
