Primer Bar Spring Replacing
Quote from Reloader on February 20, 2008, 9:31 amHello.
I have a 25 year old Dillon 550 reloader and it seems that the primer bar spring has lost its
tension. The problem I have is that I cannot find a way to hook the replacement spring to
the small pin on the frame next to the 2 securing hex screws for the primer system. Is there
a way or tool used to remove the pin for replacing the spring?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Drive it to the right just far enough to expose the left end of the roll pin. Hook the loop at the end of the spring over the end of the roll pin, and hammer the roll pin in from right to left, until the roll pin is flush with the right side of the machine frame.
