primer dispencing tip old vers new

i recently ordered small primer  dispensing tips they were blue in color. they don't fit on the tube. way to tight tried heating it up  had a little more luck but still to tall time i put it together. the old black ones never had a issue and i only have 1 left. any help would be appreciated

We suggest using both hands to press the tube into the tip, with the tip resting on top of your bench. If necessary, once you get the tip started onto the tube, insert the tube into the magazine and tighten the knurled cap to finish pressing the tube into the plastic tip.

Id be very careful here. I was having primers falling out of the escape notch and tried forcing the tube further in. Ended up breaking the primer pin that seats the primers and scattered 1/2 a box of primers all over the place and jammed up the press and primer slide. Giant cluster fluck to say the least.

I open the jaws of my vice just enough to catch the larger edge of the tip

I can push on the tube and not worry about breaking the tip

a bit of wax or case lube is helpful--but just a tiny bit
