Primer feed from RL450
Quote from TequilaJack on November 14, 2025, 3:10 amI upgraded my original 450 to all the 550 stuff but kept the old parts. Fast forward several years and I bought a 550 Basic for doing my rifle loads on. I put the 450 primer feed on the 550BL but needed a new feeding tower because the old one had been tightened down too much causing the priming arm to bind when going back and forth. I picked up a new feeding tower but it seems the primer slider from the 450 is not as thick as the 550 primer arm. Suggestions on how to "adjust" my old 450 priming arm? It operates manually and I'm too cheap to buy an auto prime upgrade. I actually like the ability to manually load a primer in the cup.
