Primer feed incontinence
Quote from Reloader on October 7, 2019, 8:55 pmI loaded 100 41 mag. Cartridges yesterday on my RL550B, and about every 4 rounds it would not pick up the primer. Very frustrated, I took it apart and cleaned it. But it didn't solve the problem. Not sure what to do, any advice would be great.

Quote from Reloader on February 6, 2020, 9:05 pmIt's possible that the 2 hex head bolts that hold the primer feed assembly onto the press has gotten overtightened. When this happens, the helicoils (threads) in the primer assy bulge on the inside of the slide, and the bar will stick, thus not going all the way back. When this happens (and I have done it myself), just get a nice sharp file and smooth out those 2 bulge points in the slide, and it will fully function. This is just a guess, but if you are not always grabbing a primer, it may not quite slide all the way back every time. When tightening, it should only be snug enough to hold it in place.
