Primer Feed Problem
Quote from Reloader on February 22, 2019, 9:50 amI have been reloading for awhile now and I just got the 550 used. I was having what I believe to be the same issue. Everything would work fine during a test run with no primers in the tube but when I loaded them in the primer tube the cup would catch on the Radius of the primer that was to be loaded. I found online the overall length is to be 1.215-1.220. I adjusted this to nominal and it works just fine with small pistol primers. I did the same thing with large pistol primers setting it at 1.220 and it is short by probably .025. I tried tapping the top of the tube very lightly but it was already seated. I believe I can easily remedy this issue by going higher but was wondering if anyone else has issues when they have the right height settings. I could easily hand prime all my cases but would like to avoid this. Any help would be appreciated.
