primer feed trouble
Quote from Reloader on December 10, 2012, 6:04 amI got my new Square Deal B set up and loaded 100 rounds of 44sp with no trouble. I had some extra brass so I fed new primers into the tube and started to load. No primers. The primers are not dropping thru the red end of the feed tube. I tried to remove the feed tube and it came out but the red tip stayed in. I did rotate the tube before removing it. Tried moving the screw 1/8 turn as suggested in the manual with no luck. The primers are making it down to the end of the red tip but wont pass thru it

Quote from Reloader on December 10, 2012, 3:59 pmUnbolt the primer feed from the front of the machine and turn it upside down, pour the remaining primers out. Then use a small flat blade screwdriver to push the red tip out of the housing. The machine included a spare tip.

Quote from Reloader on December 29, 2012, 5:27 pmI would always want to follow Dillons advice first. So just a bit of personal experience. After about 15 years, I had trouble with my large pistol primers not always dropping. I pulled the tube and the issue was the 'fingers' at the tip were too tight. I spread the fingers a little and issue was resolved.

Reloaders BUY THE BLUE machine.. 🙂
