Primer install. Shell plate over indexing
Quote from Reloader on February 15, 2020, 7:11 amI'm reloading 9mm Luger and have the machine set up. The shell plate seems to be over indexing by a millimeter or so and the primer is getting crushed or not even getting pressed into place.
The primer assembly is clear, all lined up, and indexing. The only time I can get the shell plate to line up is when the shell plate bolt is tightened, which is too tight to allow it to index.
I have not had this issue when reloading .45ACP or .40 S&W
Any input will be appreciated.

Quote from Reloader on February 17, 2020, 5:09 pmYou can center the shellplate over the primer by adjusting the indexing cam which is attached to the left side of the frame where the shaft comes out. THe two bolt holes in the cam are oval. If overindexing, move the cam towards the front of your bench. If underindexing, move the cam towards the rear of your bench.
