Primer Issues

Need a little more information. Are the primers getting into position 2 under a deprimed case and then not getting into the de-primed case? Are the primers then exiting into the little blue tray that catches un-used new primers?
Are you pushing the handle forward after the down stroke to seat a new primer?

Quote from Reloader on September 1, 2018, 6:31 pmWe have a Primer feeder problem with our Press. The Rotary Primer Disk do not move forward enough to set on the Disk Detent Ball. The Primer Index Arm spinns it but not long enough.
Also we have noted that there is friction between the Primer Disk and the rear of the Platform.
So sofare we can't load om our Press.
What to do?

Quote from Reloader on September 4, 2018, 2:25 pmFriction on the rear of Primer Disk can be caused by th Primer Seating Pounch hitting not the Primer but the Disk.
That the Primer Arm don´t return to next Primer Pocket can be due Return Spring or by too low in Primer Disk.
In the Instruktion Manual I miss Lenth of Springs, good picture of Index Arm etc. Mesurements of hov deep the Claw on Primer Arm should be in Primer Disk.
When I as youngster where photograping for Mantainace Manuals of War Birds we had to get details clear and visibly. Dillons have some improvements to do in those matters.
Nowadays so much easier with Digital Photograpy and distribution.

Quote from Reloader on September 4, 2018, 5:30 pmBE sure the axle pin that the primer disc and primer indexing arm pivot around is greased. It does sound like the primer index arm is bent, but try greasing the axle pin first. If that doesn't correct it, please email us, and include your name and address. We will mail a replacement index arm to you.
