Primer mis-feed

Square Deal B in 45 ACP. I am getting intermittent primer mis-feeds. I can go 2-3 rounds ok and then it misses a couple of primers. very annoying. Ideas?

What brand of primers? Have you checked the plastic magazine tip to see if it is deformed? Might be a good idea to push a small cloth patch wet with alcohol through the tube using the follower rod a few times to clean it out.

CCI primers. I will try the alcohol patch and check the tip. Machine is brand new.

Is the primer tube (inside the primer feed pipe) aligned with the groove that allows it to butt up against the plunger stop to regulate single feeds?

Is the primer tube end (red) for lg primers?
