primer pick up tubes
Quote from Reloader on February 4, 2008, 5:22 amI feel stupid but I just got a 550B and I'm wondering if anyone else has had primers stuck in the pick up tubes? I'm using the large pu tube (green end) for large pistol primers. Sometimes I can pick up many and the next time I pick up maybe 5 and then they wont slide. Also, both of my pick up tubes have primers stuck in them now and I don't know how to clear them. What gives?

Quote from Reloader on December 5, 2009, 1:41 amI'm just experience the same problem,Tom.I'm using some remington small pisto; primer I got cheap. The primers are turning side ways in the tube.
Examining these primers, I notice that the radius on the bottom of the primers is quite large about .060". CCI primer radius is around .030". So much for trying to save money!
