Primer Problem

I am having a problem with my 550 removing the primers.  When I raise the brass to resize and punch out the primer, the primer sticks to the depriming pin.  Then when I lower the brass from resizing, the primer is pulled back into the primer pocket.  Of course, you can not see it so when you try to seat the new primer it pushes the old primer back into the primer pocket.

Anyone know what is causing this?

Being psychic, I suspect you are loading .40 S&W cartridge. Primers can tend to get stuck on the bottom of the decapping pin, and get pulled back up into the primer pocket. Take medium sandpaper and break any square edges the primer anvil might wedge onto.
