Primer Tube Blue Tip???

I’m in the process of dusting off my 650, and found some primer tubes, one large, one small, with a blue plastic tip on the end which typically has nothing but a keeper pin used to release the primers. Any idea why these tubes have these blue plastic tips?
Tried to post a pic was unable.
Thanks! Mike

BTW, I just found another mystery primer tube. This on has a brass tip with no hole/primer keeper pin on the other end.
Thoughts?

Just discovered the brass tipped primer tube mentioned directly above is the "large primer" unit which fits inside the primer assembly "primer shield".....sorry!

I think the blue tips are on the newer style and I read somewhere that there were clear plastic tubes before the first un-tipped aluminum tubes. Other companies make similar primer pickup tubes, also, at least RCBS and Hornady.
