primer tubes
Quote from Reloader on May 6, 2009, 1:34 amWhen I try to use the small primer tube, the primers go all the way through the tube. I have tried switching out the tip of the tube, but no change.
Any suggestions?

Quote from Reloader on May 8, 2009, 2:15 pmPrimers are supposed to go all the way thru the tube. The pickup tube has a spring clip to prevent primers from exiting until this clip is removed.
If a magazine tube, then either the tube is not completely installed into the magazine housing, or else the white plastic primer retaining pin is dirty, and stuck in the rearward position.

Quote from Reloader on May 8, 2009, 8:45 pmSounds like you failed to put the little cotter pin (Spring Clip) through that tiny little hole on the exit side of the tube. Find those clips and use one, your problem will be solved ..... The Dillon way is the only way! I have owned to Dillons and would NEVER buy any other brand.

It is always best to take the primer feed system down completely when changing from small to large and vise-versa that way you can clean out any fouling build up from de-priming. or you need to put the clip thru the hole of the blue end of the primer pick up tube
