Primers sideways

On my RL550B Every once in a while maybe 1out of 50 primers will get pressed in sideways, I have cleaned the pick up tube and the feeder tube. Not a big deal just wondering if anyone else has this problem or a solution.

If it's small primers make sure that you don't have the large cup in there.

Sorry for not more specific, it’s the large primers CCI 350 and 300 and Winchester WLP, it is set up the way it’s suppose to be everything works great just every once in a while one is sideways. Didn’t know if it something I’m doing wrong after picking up with the loading tube and flipping it over to load in the press.

As infrequently as it is occurring, it is likely either an out-of-round primer, or the inside of the magazine tube needs to cleaned out. Cut a small cloth patch, about 3/8" square, wet it with alcohol, and push it through the tube a few times to clean it out.

Thanks I have ran dry patches through the pick up and feeder tube, I’ll do the alcohol patch.
